If you are setting up a Nevada corporation for PRIVACY, you should be aware that a record of payment constitutes prima facie evidence that the payor owns the corporation. For this reason we strongly recommend that you do not pay for a private corporation setup using a credit card or check. (And yes, you might well wonder why so many of our competitors encourage payment by credit card.) The preferred method of payment for corporations is by direct deposit of cash or money orders to BCR’s corporate bank account (assuming you have a branch of Bank of America near you). This method affords you privacy while leaving you with a receipt for the transaction. Alternatively, you could send postal money orders to our office but this will invariably delay processing.
